Rededication Event at Great Basin National Park
7 am Sunrise Flag Raising Ceremony
9 am- 5 pm Lehman Caves Lantern Tours (Reservation only, details coming soon)
10 am - 12 pm History and Nature Tours- Guided tours along the Lehman Caves National Monument trail.
3 pm- 4 pm Rededication Ceremony at the Astronomy Amphitheater with special guest speakers, dignitaries, and musical intertainment.
4:30 pm Cake and refreshments with past, present, and future Great Basin National Park employees and special guests
On August 6th parking will be limited. Shuttle Bus service will be provided from the Great Basin Visitor Center from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. To travel in your personal vehicle, follow NV Hwy 488 to Lehman Caves Visitor Center and follow the signs to events. The picnic area will be closed to cars during the afternoon events. Accessibility drop-off and pick-up will be accommodated.Past Events:
